Just gone through here. Had a couple of seconds of hail just now and 1.6mm just from that shower. That’s the only rain so far today.

Two lines of showers and associated CBs have moved through this afternoon, the second is just clearing while the first brought hail as we caught the heaviest cell. Otherwise it's been virtually unbroken sunshine.

It did but it looks like the channels got other ideas. The bit on the southern edge of the gap is just clipping coastal areas.
