And it won't post properly here but it's been posted in the MAD thread.

Fergies followed up his last tweet with a health warning. ⚠

One sure bet I've found over years of weather watching is that in a very unsettled spell even the modelled then forecast dry days have either drizzle or showers, this morning it is the latter and there's plenty of them.

Min of -1.4C at 06:50hrs, this morning with a frost.

Checking my new BBC 14 day hourly forecast for Thursday 8th of Feb.

I'm looking at a near 180 degree switch in wind direction between 8 & 9pm, coupled with a 13% chance of rain...

Pillocks.

As noted these apps are beyond useless, doesn't stop me checking it every 5 minutes when there is a wisp of sleet about. Is this a new app then as my bbc weather apps are just a mere 10 days if so on ios or android?

The mobile pages are still carrying the old format. Only the desktop version seems to have changed (although checking again, it's switched back)

Obviously noted the mistake of the two hour easterly and pulled the whole service

No frost here although not that far from one with a low of 1.6°C last night. Sunny and pleasant out there today and DRY. :shok:

No temps as low as others, here. got down  to 2.5 °C

Temp: 8.4 °C - Hum: 80% - Dew: 5.2 °C - Bar: 1021.30hPa - Wind: NW ~ NNE @ 5mph.

I thought i'd do some stat hunting again, and it seems this January could be a first for me, no sub-zero temperature in 8 years worth of data.

January 2011: -3.7 °C
January 2012: -3.4 °C
January 2013: -2.6 °C
January 2014: -2.0 °C
January 2015: -4.0 °C
January 2016: -5.1 °C
January 2017: -3.7 °C
January 2018: 0.8 °C*

I'm running half a degree warmer than last Winter. That shows you how poor it has been here.
