First air frost for Camborne of the winter relatively rare down there. Unusually Devon and Cornwall among coldest spots in the country.

Some good cloud scenes out over the channel this morning, as the sun lifts its head..

The Daily Express this morning assures us the -10C cold spell will last 10days, so we can all rest assured Thursdays double digits are a myth!

Got a live steam going if anyone wants to watch the snow falling around the country on radar lol, with a bit of dnb and other types of music! Might get an advert now an again as I have left it on spoitfy rather than music player but have fun!

Seem to be a cold spot this morning. -4.0C here currently :)  Very hard to find other stations as cold around here, seem to be generally +1C to -2C.

Bits of stratocumulus around and clear spells

Tonight should be the coldest night of the winter so far here (-4.7C in December to beat).

Morning everyone, what are the short range models showing for tomorrow? I’m assuming not a lot judging by the lack of posts on it.

0c here at the moment. Off to work we go ?

:sorry:Tomorrow has inevitably downgraded for here. Instead of 4 hours of light snow we are now got a bit of sleet.

I don't expect we will see anything khodds.

To top my morning off I have reversed out of drive, hit edge of a small raised wall with my front left Tyre as i turned and it blew.

A definite downgrade in posts in the MAD thread, a usual indications that after this um....cooler day or two its back to mundane muck. At least its more pleasant in there.

Every morning I read the met office text forecast and every day since Friday the forecast for this week has downgraded.... first it was a period of substantial snow for all with just rain on coasts tuesday. Then it got lighter and then last 2 days it was downgraded to sleet and snow with rain on coasts. Today it is patchy light rain, sleet and snow. It also says rain on Thursday now. :aggressive:

Just enjoy the snow tomorrow that's if we get any. I'd take a dusting of snow.

I honestly dont see many of us will see any Jay. Front dies over west wales and Cornwall.. Whats left moves through early afternoon at warmest part of day.

Hmm, not a very promising national forecast for tomorrow. Of course the rain will have no problem holding it together crossing the country on Thursday...

Looks very intense..

Only thing intense I will see is the care i'll need after this cold spell is over.

Down to -0.8°C this morning. Looking at the output, I don't think I'll be getting anywhere close to my -4.7°C record.
