So, here we are at December 1st again, so a shiny new thread to start the Winter season! A wet start to it, but hopefully some signs of things turning colder, ideally around the Christmas period!

Too right!  Although, I suspect we will have to wait until after New Year, but that's fine.

If @Mapantz sees it then I'm sure most of us will have done.

If you want Christmas but without the crowds that you get in Bath, there's this too, haven't been yet so don't know what it's like but it's indoors and you might stand a chance of getting close enough to the stalls to see what they have.

Miserable day yesterday, grey and showers all day, 13mm in total.
Was blustery most of the day, WSW 16-25mph, with many 30-35mph gusts.

It was 13.6c at 2am and a low of 13c at 7am.
It is now 13.7c, light grey skies, a lot of slight drizzle,1.6mm so far. Not even seen it on any forecasts or radars.
WSW wind 12mph.

Not seeing much snow or even a cold spell in December so far from the forecasts I've been seeing lately.
But much too early to really tell yet.

I take it all back DO NOT BOTHER! It's 20 mins from here and it took me longer to drive there than it took me to walk round it. A few stalls, imagine pound shop quality, rolled in glitter and charging Marks&Spencer prices. Very small ice rink, no idea what the Santa Express or panto are like but the Santa and train at the entrance to the expensive Santa Experience, didn't bode well. Shockingly poor. More Christmas cheer to be found in Lidl.

Bath was as you said!

Drizzled all day and muggy to boot. Definitely the wettest heatwave we've had this year!

Is it me or was today a precursor to more cr@p days in paradise? Rain, drizzle warm temperatures, all thrown in to make it one of those days.. OH in case you're interested it's still 13.2C and drizzling..

So i thought I'd take a look at the cold thread (dumb move), where the last comment just seen suggests the following:

Oh dear!  ecm not looking good at all

Reply: Looks much better than earlier

Take your pick bad/good I guess nobody has the slightest clue..

Thanks for your brutal Trip Advisor report on the Xmas alternative that wasn't Jethro, had looked on the internet as it was indoors.Wednesday is looking drier by recent standards,so its on the train, park and ride, then its  March of the Penguins round Bath Xmas Market, got some inside form though, because last year we went to Winchester Xmas Market, for the March of even more Penguins,so shouldn't be too surprised lol.

Rotten weather here today. V mild, breezy and rain on and off. Thankfully we're off to the sun and pleasant warmth of Fuerteventura on Wednesday for a week.
