let’s hope so Frosty.This easterly is a waste of space,it’s too late now to bring any significant cold or snowy weather,could have put money on it arriving too late in the season.

looks fairly blocked for the next two weeks,with easterly winds dominating  the scene ,now we are out of the cold season

Anyway, good agreement from the models for a milder trend next week, indeed, it could become warm by easter.

Well folks the run up to the holidays looks mainly fine and increasingly warm! Temps could be approaching 20c. There are some tentative signs of low pressure from the S/SW by day 10,and a cooler blip.... But perhaps some nice azores riding by the end of the run making itself present.

The Ecm 00z ensemble mean is looking increasingly mild / warm towards and during easter.

I must say, the 6z operational is a good run once this cool blip expires, mostly fine with plenty of sunshine, a few heavy showers at times and becoming warm and probably humid at times with continental influence.

Yay, party back on!  

Not excited about warmer weather TBH.  Had summer like weather in February and I suspect we are in for another scorcher of a summer.

After April showers at the start of the month its looking like parts of the east will see very little rain for at least another 10-days

The UK as a whole see's very little rain it looks like Ireland will see the bulk of it
