What happened to the storms?

We just don’t seem to get them now. After several mini hot snaps, some areas have failed to get a decent thunderstorm.

Hopefully August produces something.

This has been going on for years- see link here and I'm pretty sure I was commenting on this even further back in time on here. Big decline in my observed storms for at least a decade now. 

Less storms, less snow, less weather, exciting times.
