4 to 5 Inc in Cydach what about you Marcus.

I haven't been outside but I'd say a good 5 inches. More where the wind has blown it around in places possibly

Just been out to rescue my young eucalyptus tree that was bent right over under the wet snow and we have about an inch out there and snow has picked up a bit again.

Couple of inches here, but pavements and roads are pretty clear - so not quite as good as January 2021. But great to see areas further west got their fill for once!

Well, radar show snow, but no snow here as yet, but forecast show heavy snow later which is at least 12 hours earlier than forecast.  @andymusic, how’s it with you?

Good grief folks that’s a lorra lorra snow!

Still snowing moderately, bigger flakes now. I have this silly hope today that like in times gone past they have the forecast wrong and the cold air manages to stay in place later today and it stays as snow all day and doesn't turn to rain later 😂

You were fair play ! Well done Andy🙌... !

I made a judgement regarding feeding my cows or letting them out today, based on your warnings. No the snow didn't stick around here ( so far ) but I literally live on a sea surrounded peninsular.  You may ramp things up, but by golly you've got a nose for snow I swear it !

Cheers Andy. And the rest of you weather gurus!

You can see developing front off the coast of Cornwall that will slowly push north.Heavy pp but warm air behind it ,so high risk high reward.

We’ve had a 2/3inches here in Llandaf. Pretty wet. nothing on the roads of note.

Just got back from dropping the partner to work in Nantgarw, a few miles up the A470 and definitely less marginal up there (though the Garth (c.304m) isn’t exactly covered either) . Heavy precipitation due now for a while but this will be a short lived affair imo unfortunately (re. Near enough sea level).

Glad most have seen something! It’s been a rough ride the last couple years in the MOD thread 😂

Would you say it will likely have to be away from the coast for this second lot later for the chance of snow and rain on the coast?

Only about half an inch of lying snow here, and air temps already above freezing.

Im not expecting snow past midday here. Dew points rise throughout the afternoon with rain more likely later than snow. But hopefully the cold can grip on
