I've give up now if I'm been honest, roll on some warmer temperatures.  Another shambles of a winter, dull and boring.  Will be nice to get some warm sunsets with my camera, there's always next winter 🤷

Still plenty of interest over the next few days and into the weekend

Sorry to sound a pain but I'm writing it off now, totally downbeat with all these weather warnings and nothing coming from them, don't have a clue what models they are using but I think there from cloud cuckoo land 😅

The current weather pattern is beyond difficult to predict and is really down to now forecasting, it appears to me with some elevation there will be some heavy snow of the wet variety , followed by a thaw then a freeze and so on into next week, let’s hope we then get an early spring.

Wahey! We have the lightest snow shower in history!

It’s gone from very light to light here slight dusting on car

Looks like we won’t be getting any of that deep purple though.

We don’t want that wouldn’t have a hope in hell of falling and sticking with a strong easterly we want the secondary feature far lighter winds so evaporative cooling can happen for us low lying folk

TBH i'm more hopeful about tomorrow's possible showers than thursday's possible snow.😄

Ah look that first graphic shows rain for the south is anyone going to post that in the MOD thread to wind them up.

I'd laugh my socks off if it all ends up south but rains.

Just watched Gavs Snow Watch, a lot of the models including the High Res are showing the Snow struggling to get into the North East, Scotland defo look like missing out now, expect the warnings for Thursday to move tomorrow from the Met

So does that mean we keep the colder air locked in for longer ?

It will rain for the south lol

I still think time for change, time will tell but if our recent snow record is yo go by we end up with zilch.

Here’s hoping the low tracks further South and misses England altogether. 😂

Rather pointless posting in MOD thread as just gets lost amongst the gazillion short range snow risk posts.

Though tbh hardly worth posting as the mid term models are changing each run. Mentioned earlier about a v slow moving system heading to Iceland & over us taking almost 10 days to do so. This afternoon same system has hit us 5 days earlier without taking the slower Iceland route.

Think will stick to radar for next few days as model accuracy doing my head in.

Earlier track v Latest, see what 18z brings
