The radar is struggling.  Big patches keep disappearing then reappearing..

Looking at the latest Met Video on YT it was showing Rain Rain and more Rain, Dew Point on the wrong side of freezing

Strange as the dew point is dropping here. -3 now. Just no precipitation lol

We are not going to get any snow falling until the early hours when conditions become more favourable for low lying areas

It's trying to turn to snow in Darlo now got some starting to stick to cars

Currently +0.2c with a dew point of -0.3c

Here's a bit of positivity. There's a good peppering of showers just to our north now so once the system pivots and starts to clear south east we should get a few of them showers hitting the whole region

Decent Snow falling here now, it's starting to stick aswell to Cars and roofs

When it going to stop going north ?it’s miles further that forecast and doesn’t look to me like it’s pivoted yet

And with good reason.

The last twelve months have been really lousy for weather enthusiasts in our part of the world. A chilly spring, followed by a bone dry growing season, a dearth of thunderstorms, and no snow.

I really don't care for a repeat this time round. Roll on spring 👍
