On the plus side hard frost tonight too!!

And I'm really doubting the predicted maximums tomorrow, especially with snow fields. Not a chance of 4c tomorrow, more like 1c.

Very light now, almost stopped, 7cms here so at top end of my original expectations, with potential for a bit more later perhaps.

First signs of pivoting, easterly wind has brought the snow back here in Coventry. It shall be an all day event!

Looks like we’re done here, but a really good snowfall. We’re not going to be in the prime spot but when you think that some of the forecasts and models have shown us as missing out over the past few days, then we can be very very pleased with how it’s gone.

An excellent snow day!

Yh its snowing here and all around Birmingham now. Radar shows it bone dry. The radars are having a nightmare its clearly stalled and pivoting now. No sign of it stopping at all here.

No idea what is going on with radar and why it's getting it so wrong. Right in the middle of bright yellow yet what's actually falling is equivalent of dark blue. Not getting more than a dusting if this continues.

Just had a phone call from Sainsbury's -- no food delivery for me! Can't say I'm surprised; I wouldn't want to be driving a delivery van around this (hilly) town in this either. Will be raiding the food cupboard for a few days by the looks of it.

I have about 7 cm of lying snow here, most of which arrived with the main band, but it is still snowing lightly. As others have said, the radar isn't picking this up, but it is certainly still coming down. +0.7 °C right now.

The radar is definitely not to be trusted, today! The snow slowed down here for around 10 mins but has picked up again, despite the PPN apparently moving away and leaving us under very light stuff

Still going here, almost stopped but has picked back up again, bizarre as should be clear of here now based on the radar!

And now it's picking up a bit here too! Really is a windowcast event at the moment, as the radar is completely useless for this snow!
