Yeah it would be a good place, somewhere like Guildford normally does fairly well in streamers. I'm kinda at the very end line of any streamer usually that is a hair north of ENE. The Feb 09 streamer managed 23cms nearby, but a weaker streamer tends to run out of puff by the time it reaches here and gives its dying breath as light snow showers.

It snowed most days in Guildford during the BFTE. Blowing snow with wind chills down to -15°C. ❄️

Found this explicit amber warning in my camera roll

I think we are in a fairly good spot in Reigate. I hope for 4 or 5 inches of snow...

Fingers crossed. I’m hoping the same too

Orpington Kent.. can do well as in past be it rain or snow we seem to have benefited from  uplift as air is forced up by north downs when winds in North or east.

6 inches 15cm ?

It is snow and not frost!

I will make a dusting snowman for you all to see!

Yep that's exactly what the last streamer a few weeks back left me with. Hoping for more this time lol.

Not normally one for using weather apps as we all know what they are like, but it’s not often you see Met office forecasting heavy snow from Midnight Saturday to midnight Sunday

Falling snow for over 18 hours in our region according to Dutch meto

No wonder they've named it, they get a country wide blizzard.

I was a bit pessimistic a few days ago when the wind was more south easterly and it looked like turning into a bit of a Kent clipper for a run or 2 but since then the charts have been curving it into more of a north easterly and Traditionally that favours EA a bit more so I’m hopefully of a more widespread event. I’ve seen the Euro 4 and like the last few times think this is not showing anywhere near the right extent.
Am I still hopeful for my location? Absolutely.

Can’t quibble at the GFS 18z pub run - not at all. Game on for EA, SE and into East Midlands tomorrow night and Sunday bring it!
