Yep not a fan of brown sauce… don’t mind using it in marinade’s… not by itself  date based sauce…

Going to Lowry to see Van Gogh exhibit… probably pop in somewhere after for late lunch/tea…  I’ve got some frozen white bread and eggs to use up so probably do eggy bread for breakfast

always pint of strong coffee though when first up… ☕✅??

just saw there’s a new Indonesian restaurant in Hadfield… might have to try that next week….

No sleety showers for a while, quite  breezy though.

How do you crack frozen eggs, Will?

Ps , is this the place you might try?

Showers overnight and still a few this morning but nothing wintry at this altitude.

still a bit of snow on the grass here and the tops have a bit of white but the majority has gone now.

A pretty dire morning here with a mixture of fast moving showers and the odd glimpse of sunshine and a cold raw feel, certainly not a day for outside activities.

A particularly heavy shower passed through a few minutes ago with just a hint of sleet mixed in but certainly no signs of anything more like snow and it’s disappeared over into Calderdale with brighter skies again now anyway.

A largely sunny morning here, dry and coolish, with temp currently at 6.7C. Very gentle breeze. Complete contrast to yesterday.

Just been to Asda Shaw, cold wet and 3 degrees. Drove back to Newhey the long way up Buckstones road, down to Denshaw and then up and over the hill to Newhey. 1.5 degrees at the summit but no sleetiness.

3c heavy rain shower… even hills around are bare of any white… looking forward to drier hopefully at times sunnier weather next week

Yep the wait for a proper cold snap goes on. Bar about 15 minutes on Friday so far nothing remotely wintry this winter here.

Clouds have suddenly rolled in here after a lovely sunny morning, but I doubt we'll see any showers this afternoon, judging by the radar, temp 7.1C.

How the most innocuous looking pea sized looking shower on the radar can produce an absolute downpour if its a direct hit...like here now & most of this morning when it's rain....but give it a chance of being snow and it bails out barely producing a sugar dusting.  Hopefully a drier week to follow.
