Still falling here (though I suspect not for much longer)..

Since 10am the rain has been constant showers, some heavy.
27mm in total so far.
Rain has turned to slight drizzle now.
Brightening up a tad, light grey sky.
Wind picked up around 2-3pm, 15-18mph with plenty of 20-25mph gusts. So nothing to shout about there.

That was a proper soaking! The garden needed it, though, and so did the pond!

Very wet here today with an 46.6mm from todays rain (almost double the whole of last months rain). Windy at times, although perhaps not as windy as it seemed it was going to be. Reached 16.9°C

Morning All, sat image this morning shws we are not that far away from the thicker cloud of yesterday

Meanwhile as the skies cleared we managed a low of 7.1°C at: 06:16, currently 9.8°C with RH84% and a light (3mph breeze) in from the SW..

Yesterdays' rainfall placed Bournemouth top of the league, and as noted many of us received more than their measure (40.8mm here)

Clear skies with some channel and the table brollies are back out again today down on the beach some patchy Cu

No more rain since mid afternoon yesterday, 28mm was the day total yesterday.

Started grey, but blue sky has just started to make an appearance.
A low of 11.8c at 7am, now 13.9c.
SW 4-8mph wind, 996.9 hPa and rising fast

Some good Cbs earlier sliding past the house. Can just make out the rainbow near the base. Pity I wasn't nrear the north coast where I'm sure there would have been the opportunity for some cracking photos

A few showers this PM, but able to get things done between them, sat looking less showery now with a larger area of rain over the north of the IOW, which scooted past us, but looking very dark the east. Currently 10.7°C, if it stays clear could be another cool one over night

A lonely cumulonibus rattling in from Lyme bay.

Some large Cu around, just had a light shower, bur expecting rain by mid afternoon as the next wave approaches from the south west And this will spread to all areas through this evening/overnight, accompanied by stong winds along the south coast. Just out of interest out to the west ex hurricane Sam is about to phase with the trough

Wet start this morning, started around 5am for an hour of heavy rain.
Just drizzly showers now and brightening up. 6mm rain so far today.
Low of 11.6 at 5am, now 12.2c
SW 3-6mph winds, 1008.3 hPa

Liking the forecast for later in the week with temps in the low 20c and sunny.
Perfect timing, to dig up my maincrop potatoes, dry in the hot sun and then store.

Morning All single digit overnight @ 7.7°C at: 07:41, currently 9.9°C  with RH93% and no breeze, but 2.6mm of rain overnight.

The loneliness of the sole hopeful searcher is highlighted this morning

And for later convectiveweather have suggested...a risk SLGT of storms as the Inbound low reaches our shores..

Got halfway through upgrading my brakes and saw a dark cloud. Had to scramble everything away - piddling down!

Not really a storm, more like some spells of slightly heavier rainfall from this as it crosses the area

Really beautiful views from Durleigh this morning. As Beka reports, we too caught rather a lot of the sharp showers on our walk from Bournemouth to Sandbanks.
