22.2mm here in exactly 3 hours from  0030 last night here. Peaked at 79mm an hour at 03:13, noisy at that time of night. Lowest pressure of 998.2hPa was an hour later.

Morning All, a nice sunny start to the day after an overnight low of 7.7°C at: 04:05, currently 11.6°C with RH77% and a breeze in from the NNW at 8mph.

A fine morning for a swim, calm sea, offshore breeze and a warming sun followed by a cup of coffee (no I didn't do that, just an idea)

From broken Ac earlier the cloud has gradually thickened as the warm front to the west edges closer

It’s funny how some people wanted HIGH pressure yet here we are again under a HIGH and it’s gone gloomy, foggy, drizzly and bleugh this morning!

Whereas a week or so of active fronts and nigh on 75mm of rain also included significant amounts of sunshine!

14.7c right now, I’d rather 10c less with clear sky!

The sat image confirming breaks be it between rain in Scotland or mist and fog down here, are few and far between

It's cloooooudy and doing nothing. My worst kind of weather for SAD. Although I do kinda need a weeeee ... Serves me right for using the biggest mug in the cupboard ha!
