Further heavy snow overnight. Temperature 0°c at 5am. Clear skies should produce some fairly low temperatures tonight.

Heavy snow around Westhill continuing into Aberdeen City.

No snow here overnight. Wasn't really expecting any after yesterday's massive let down! Nice bright morning though! GFS and Met automated suggest it turning wintry again on Sunday evening but I think I've had my fill of sleet and slushy crud! GFS has a decent snow risk for Thursday but too far away to think about!

Well sure enough we did get snow on and of during the night, albeit it mostly melted between the showers. Heavy shower at half 5 left another covering before I headed out to work.

Couple of inches this morning, now gone. That's the most I've seen since I moved here.

Beautiful day on Deeside with wall to wall blue sky after waking to the lightest of sprinklings of snow showing on the cleared paths from yesterday. Overnight low of -0.8c, currently 4.9c.

Local council installed solar panels on their remaining housing stock last year and the local Facebook group is reporting complaints of a new sort - folk leaving their houses and the closing of the door is enough to tempt the snow off their roof, narrowly missing them but apparently taking out tv aerials and satellite dishes on the way down. Now making calls for the council to install snow boards on their roofs. Some folk are never happy!

I might be wrong but I'm sure that was a non-event here and subsequently wiped from memory

Frosty in the shade all day so a good bit of snow cover left. Excuse the double photos above as posted outside  from phone with numb fingers. Still sunny and 3c

I see i’m not the only one in this thread who was out enjoying the sunshine today. People were skiing down from Green Lowther today, sadly was off nightshift otherwise would have gone on more of a trek.

The dogs enjoyed it, was the youngest gun dog’s first taste of proper snow and the old collie lead the way. 2 people flew overhead on a microlight which looked brilliant

Thank you! She’s nearly 16 so doing very well and I will cry when the time comes. Not usually fussed by humans going but animals are a weak spot (The difference a camera makes versus phone is really quite noticeable)
