[adopt mock 1920s English toff accent for both characters]

Cracking weather Jeeves. 20C yesterday, 18C today and the same forecast tomorrow. [sorry, can't do Fahrenheit]

Bertie, look at the medium term outlook on most weather models. Reality check relayed back from a hundred years in the future.

Oh I say Jeeves. Snowshoes at the ready, what! Typical Scottish weather, don't you know?

19.1C here yesterday with apparently (I , alas stuck indoors all day fitting the kitchen into Dingwall pad can’t wait to get darn place finished and get outside back into the air)) I think a day off and hike to Sandwood Bay is called for tomorrow before dire weather sets in at the weekend.

Well we had a horrible day yesterday. Drizzle and then rain and then drizzle and then heavy low cloud. And a plague of very big very loud wasps trying to get in the kitchen and the shed. 😠

Stav on the EBC reporting max temp of 22.3 at Achnagart.   Of course sites which don’t report until tomorrow (Achfary?) may still exceed.  First 20 of year in UK, and looks like it will be warmest in UK for some time.

Despite this it’s no longer being mentioned.  Awaiting verification, or too high above forecast to be allowed?

As cold as it was with the cloud around that's gone absolute cracker jack of a afternoon breeze not too bad here

Chilly start to the day as was cloudy. That wind is cool but the afternoon was warm.

In any shelter it’s roasting, a max of 17.4c

What happened to all the forecast doom and gloom from today onwards? Cloud, drizzle etc., no chance of 20C again for quite some time was yesterday's narrative.  But it's been wall to wall sunshine in the Borders and even in haar-central Edinburgh. Bootiful.

Stunning day here too barley coming through just 10 days after sowing.

Maximum of 17c here too tempered by a fresh wind Great for weeding garden and getting some veg seeds sown mainly under cold frames keeping one eye on the weather for next week.

Gorgeous day so far.

Very foggy to start with along with a ground frost.

Fog cleared very quickly to leave clear blue skies, prime contrail weather at that...

Could contain: Horizon, Nature, Outdoors, Sky, Ground, Scenery, Tree, Land, Fir, Field

Light winds and temperature already trouncing the Met Office forecast max (14c vs the forecast 12c).

It is starry here but nothing visible from the house unfortunately. A nice sunny day but still a chill in the breeze coming in off the North Sea. Max of around 13.5C. Had a walk up the coastal path from Carnoustie to Arbroath and caught the Bahamas locomotive passing (just) by accident.

Classic Scottish spring weather with high pressure to the north and an easterly flow. Oh to be on the west coast. 😃 The haar and low cloud has come and gone here over the last few days but overall there’s been a reasonable amount of sunshine even if temperatures have struggled to get out of the single digits.

Amazing the difference even the few miles between us makes, cloudless skies here 2 days in a row with yesterday's high 12.4C + today so far 13.5C 🌞🌅

Best day yet in this part of the world.  Just nudging +18, lighter winds, and sky clear.  Not even contrails (atmosphere too dry?). First sprinkler of the season.

Was down towards your part of the world today for a walk down the Fife coastal path from St Andrews to Kingsbarns. Haar pretty much kept away though could be seen well out to sea most of the time. Still a cool breeze at times though nice in the sun.

My goodness you could get very used to this kind of weather.

Another stunning day of clear blue skies, this time with no fog/low cloud to start the day.

Lack of that cloud cover/fog reflected in a hard frost for the time of year, with an overnight min of -1.5c and everything crispy and white until around 8am.

Max of 14.5c with a steady E wind during the middle of the day, now calm and cold at 1.1c.

Lovely evening to be out, best four months of the year now starting for evening activities.
