3-4cms here in NW Kent id take that anyday lol. UKMO now apparently shows a lot more over a wider area too.

Also I notice the band of snow in central- Western England seems to be heading very very slowly E/NE could it spring a surprise?!

We also have this from BBC last attachment

We'll the vid is definitely right about the ice, it's still crunchy like fresh fallen snow, even though it got rained on, so may be we had another ice shower through at some point.

Hope they will recover well love cats used to have several of em i got crazy conure parrots and Red footed tortoises instead now lol. Better choices for a 1st floor flat. My new build is so highly insulated i was dying in the summer but now its paying off no heating on! Room temps still 18.5c!

They're a nuisance - don't like them! 😒

sorry @lassie23

Read about toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that can be dangerous for pregnant women and people with weak immune systems.

The models seem to be upgrading the event for later today. Think anywhere south of Central London could see a few centimetres, would be lovely to have some crunchy snow.

If they (  showers )   move which is painful watching them.(slow ) get one over head it could dump a lot on you ..its getting them over head ,met office are one step ahead even on guessing ,because global models are mammoth processing power but trying to pin point a little circulation in channel and also just off the  Philippines is hell of a thing to work out

The low is expected to form in the channel this evening - I wouldn't waste your time watching the showers over the west country.

Thick freezing fog and frost here in NE London.

That snow out over Gloucestershire looks like it wasn’t forecast? At least to the degree it’s snowed there overnight. It’s moving this way but unsure how much of it will stay intact.

Exciting evening coming up

Plenty of radar watching 👀❄🌨⛄

Yup any snow is a nowcast event and may vary from town to town even.........

Some may get lucky with 10cm+ while others get barely a dusting.....
