Swap you if it’s sunny without the fog!

Thick status ... Most delightful ...

Much colder than expected last night, down to -2.3C and still very foggy now so barely 1C.

Makes a nice change!

Impressive! Was 1.9c here. Most have rose quickly though as it was 6c on school run

Oscillating around 5-6 degrees down here in Portishead. Doesn't feel too bad but I guess that's because there's no wind and it's not a 'dry' cold, as it were.

Maxed out at 02.8C today. Assuming the temp doesn't supersede that before midnight, that'll be the lowest max this year and lowest max since 13th Feb 2021!

Really very notable for such a mild month overall, at the end of such a mild autumn.

@*Stormforce~beka* is it warm enough for you?

Peaked at 5.2°C at: 10:17, now back at 4.8°C Flatline day!

Could contain: Plot, Chart, White Board

I am bloody frozen! Sat under a blanket, heating on to 21 (too cold I'm happier at 22) and my hands are still like ice!! There is no fat on me though I only weigh 7st 6! So I really, really suffer this time of year!

Does anybody use "Twinkly" Christmas lights?

I bought a set and put them on my tree, damn! They're amazing!

I don't have a tree. It's too early ... Do show us a picture please ...

It does feel a little more like winter now, I think we have all got used to the weather being mild even through October and November

Morning All, a milder night with the low reaching 3.3°C at: 04:53, currently 6.1°C, RH97% and a 9mph light breeze in from the E, under a grey sky., with no loitering mist.

Cool again this morning inside, was down to 12°C at one stage, bit of sun needed to help raise it again.

Meanwhile out over the channel, possible cloud break further south.

(No wasp picture today as the cold finished it off yesterday)

Can we hold YOU to this?

Mind you heating is now on as it's almost December and Wife has flu, so the cold probably wasn't beneficial for her.

Probably not. lol

The software now uses 50% GFS and 50% ECMWF. I can weight it in either direction too.

It does tie in with what the GFS shows for this location next week, but less than a 30% chance.

There is a lot of agreement from all over the web at the moment, this might actually come off and if I remember correctly, we had a very wet period leading up to the 2010 cold snap.

There is actually frost on the cars!

Nothing here I am still waiting for my first frost. 😗

Models starting to get my interest but staying skeptical as decembers hopes are still clouded by dec 2010 and snow is super rare sea level west country.
