7 hours of thunderstorms forecast for my area tomorrow, 10am to 3 pm! Please let this be true. Not shot any good storm footage for nearly 3 years.

After yesterday's misses, today a fast and furious dumping from this little puppy, and is looking a cracking day for more of these furious little puppies across the region, not so sure about here, BUT fingers crossed.

From around 11-13:00 cape seems to increase around the Bristol area

Well it’s a very decent day with plenty of sunny spells and, so far, a few short sharp showers.

That will probably change for the worse around 17.30 when my son’s cricket training starts.
 

Last year we had showers/drizzle on 6 of the 8 Friday evenings when all 6 of them had been dry until that time!

It's been lively up here since 1200. Lots of thunder. Most of it has passed just north so not really had much C-G action thus far.

ITs been sunny most of the day down here and apart from the 09:30 shower it's been dry, and a pleasant gardening afternoon.

Sunny now, but humidity is still high and you can feel the occasional drop of rain fall from ostensibly clear skies. It looks like the spine of the country is getting the action now, suggesting an element of orographical convection today.

Decent enough today. Got the cutting and painting done outside.

Just a bit of rain from showers that always tend to form overhead in these setups, to then provide more excitement further North.

Apart from a heavy shower around lunchtime it was dry here and mostly sunny although it did turn a bit cloudier for part of the afternoon. Didn't feel the warmest with quite a stiff breeze. Reached 15.2°C

Absolutely awful here on the coast, though it appears to be moving at a reasonable pace. Need to go into Weymouth, so am holding off a bit until the rain eases.

Afternoon All, some useful rain this morning, I suspect people watching the TV today will see some drowned rats later, not that I'm watching. With the back edge not that far away, garden time calls. 

From above the lighter heavier bands of rain showing over Southampton/Winchester area at the moment

A fairly cool day with the peak of 12.8°C at: 14:02, and RH97%, still with light drizzle. The garden is still dry, turfing over the leaf compost, only the top layer is wet, anything under 2-3mm's is bone dry.
