Yes as Tom said quite a storm near Warminster. It seems it got a kick back into action by the Eastern edge of Salisbury Plain because it was very active for 10 minutes but lightning has tailed off quickly since.

All a bit too far east for here it seems. Annoying, as the last lot was too far west!

I’m about an hour or so away from there can’t see much right now

But I think it’s just a case of waiting

The rain is horrendous. Totally soaked, had to pull over to wait for it to pass. Lightening still frequent - not bad just wish there was more sound!

Anyone chasing this line of storms better be a good driver 😂

Seeing some beautiful elevated lightning to the E/NE as it races away.

Has anyone on the ground seen strong winds?

Storms are always like this these days. I've not had a surfaced based one here for many, many years. I wonder why ...

Hey all:)

Sat by a lake near Cirencester - lightning to the west and rumbling away - I can also see the blighting strobing from the Portsmouth cell and further west from that. Beutiful here - high clouds and bolts jumping from bases to base, getting more frequent. Could well be an mcs forming it looks like.

Looks like that little cell off Brighton has now electrified!
