Brecon Beacons in South Wales or even the Shropshire Hills?  Not that near you but probably the closest.  Other than that maybe Dartmoor?

Snow drifts 10ft deep in places on Cairngorm now. 

Snow down to about 650m or so. Let’s hope it now stays the winter!

Turning a lot milder for the next week or so, most will probably dissappear sad to say

That’s true but would take a fair bit to melt that amount of snow, I would hope a few drifts will survive. Longer term prospects don’t look like the usual zonal rubbish

The clouds cleared today to reveal first snow of the winter is on Yr Wyddfa.

Looking pretty up there today, 10cm of fresh snowfall on the tops.

Could contain: Nature, Outdoors, Winter, Blizzard, Snow, Storm, Utility Pole
