Torrential rain showers on and off very quickly for the last 2 hours and several rumbles of thunder. No lightning seen yet.

About fifteen minutes ago we had an epic flash and bang but nothing much after. But it's certainly been an active one and look forward to some more months of this.

Pretty poor forecasting. Current radar looks a lot more widespread and intense then the BBC and MetO forecasts; even the "new" videos uploaded 3 hours ago by both.

a thundery shower in the last 30 mins, no lightning seen but its better than nothing. Not sure anymore is due for this area now

That’s what we heard go over then… 

had a rumble of thunder and heavy tropical rain in last half hour… nothing torrential but watering garden 👍👌👍👌☔️☔️☔️✈️✈️✈️

Mediterranean storms east and west of here… Manchester and Sheffield to get dumping again
