Had to take the opportunity to timelapse these. About 25 minutes worth of footage into 5 seconds.

A moderate but spectacular display this morning visible with the knackered eye👀

Between 02.30  and fading away around 03.30, as soon as  the rays from the Nautical twilight, firstly lit them up then melting them away before Civil twilight began

A few images from this morning

End of the twilights so coming into Night

Lets see if anything can grow before the next twilight rays come though

Enough gaps in the cloud for Cappella to make an appearance

Not spotted anything, 2.45am and too much cloud hindering, a few small gaps.

Fully clouded over by 01.00 but stuck around and kept an eye out on the webcams - no avail to my old eyes

So far, there only been a couple of reports for a quick faint and very low display  around 02.00  from Germany

One of them being from the Flensburg cam

To which I've checked by scrolling back on the live cam  .. which looks valid😂

We``ll were half way through the season .. and with Solstice night so close to having a negative sightings record for it`s not going to be memorial to many

Looks cloudy for most, and 5 nights ago there were no sighting for the UK ( probably due to cloud cover😅 ) ...but it is mid June🙂

Good luck to all for the remains of the season👍

Not sure there was a NLC display in Russia  just that the camera applied ultra high contrast to the live image which soon became obvious in the frames after.

Its certainly a trend on most of the cams on starvisor

Unless there is footage from another source from Russia from another cam that i haven't seen

Tbh.. so what anyway.. what russia gets has no bearing on what we do.

I chose a bottle of red over staying sober, whixh i need to be to go out to a vantage point.

Im very disheartened with this season.. june 22 no evening displays..

Only recall one evening display last year so my hopes of one are very small this year
