Incredible cloud tops from that storm to the west of Birmingham, looks very healthy.

A cell has moved over Church Stretton, some thunder and lightning and a little rain but it still feels absolutely oppressive.  Explosive convection taking place when you could see clearly earlier and now looking forward to more.

Near to Whitchurch and can hear distant thunder moving away. A shower passed over and turned thundery as it moved off.

My eye is to the south on that cell passing to the west of Brum. I'm in its path, providing it doesn't fizzle.

Constant rumbling from the cell to towards Overton/Bangor on Dee towards my south. Heading my way. Rumbling getting louder and my ears are ringing.

It looks far better on satellite than it is in reality:

I suspect it's surface based and won't make it far into the water.

Few spots of rain here and a couple of very distant rumbles from that storm but nothing else .  Hopefully more to come looking at the radar ?

Nope! Perfectly placed to deliver tones of mid level cloud debris tomorrow.
