Going by the radar loop it looks like the further West along the South coast you are the more Southerly the mid level flow is.

Must be that nice little cell south of Selsey.

Wish that one had formed just a little further westwards. Seems we're so close yet so far from the energy to the east.

I can see one of the cells flashing away here in Christchurch!  Must be very elevated

Watching both Eastbourne and Worthing lightning shows to the south. Weirdly they seem to be in sync with the flashes.

On Holiday in Llandulas, was outside the caravan and just got surprised by a big flash followed by rumble of thunder, now heavens have opened, am spotting some distant flashes to the west also.
