I don't think I have a chance of a storm come near me but at least I've seen something and heard something, that will do for now 😂

The nearest cell is popcorny… a bit of activity then a long pause. Hoping it matures into something a little more organised

Can't see to the north, have a hill there, keep seeing the odd flash to the south though, not very active yet. Main bit went west so far.

I'm up near the cat and fiddle watching a few distant strikes towards the Welsh border, great visibility here with these high based cells moving north.

I think the cell coming towards me is slowly dying, lightning is becoming less frequent and so are the rumbles

Just heard some distant thunder over my way. Looks like I'm sandwiched between two cells to my North east and south west. Praying the system south of the Isle of White will make it over...

 

The current system over Littlehampton will probably clip me unless it suddenly turns north

The system in red is the one I'm keeping an eye on 👀
