Its definitely a will it or won't it here in Margate.  As I type though it sounds like some distant rumbles.. blitzortung radar showing storms getting nearer but as quite often here in thanet (where we seem to have our own weather climate lol) ẁe may still miss out.. 

Edt.. a few distant rumbles,  2 distant flashes seen,  although I am facing wrong direction here,  and looking at blitz radar it's heading out to sea beneath us. Sounds like I might call it a day here

Edit again.  Now I saw that flash and much louder thunder..

Is that it for us?.. often the case.. or will we get more.  Can't decide whether to sleep or not now lol

Here in this part of Kent we had some big bangs as well, albeit the Lightning was very elevated

Hard to call it a storm here,some elevated lightning and Channel rumbling between 11pm and 1am.

Still only the third instance of thundery weather in 2023 here.

I've got my camera's memory card accidentally trapped in the back of the CD area on the IMAC because at 2am today I thought that was card reader area and its not allowing me to eject it. So nothing off my camera to come from last night.

Tried using tweezers and that's what pushed it further in. I really shouldnt have tried to upload my videos and photos when I was really tired.

Aye us Kent lot all sound the same 😂

Strike was only a few streets away so I can see why it was so bloody loud
