There's some nice instability passing though at the moment, hopefully this doesn't ruin any chances of storms developing in the coming hours

It’s dark here too, think it’s being made worse by multiple levels of cloud and what’s effectively virga absorbing a lot of light.

Quite dark here and just started raining a bit. Feels quite humid now too compared to earlier.

The metoffice are again making themselves look silly with the large hail comments. Every time they issue a storm warning large hail comes into it.

Got super dark here. Is this gonna be an unexpected event?

Had the darkness here. Just a few showers, as modelled.

Cloud formations aside, we've got a nice contrasting sky with the appearance of a rainbow. Haven't seen one in quite a while.

Quite a lot of difference in the UKV on the positioning of the rain/thunderstorm band moving near the IOW.

UKV 15z is encouraging, a direct hit by a Multicell cluster around 08:00 followed by further bouts of organised thunderstorms running close to the coast until midday.

I am in Devon until tomorrow, so a storm in Worthing is absolutely a nailed on certainty until I get back....

Similarly, as I'm home tomorrow, I recommend any fans of storms to evacuate the Colchester area immediately to avoid disappointment.
