Any visibility there?

Fully clouded over all day in the SE

I've got Afton Down kind of blocking my view, but I doubt I'd see anything over a few distant flashes currently either way. If it's still this strong in an hour, I'll be heading to the cliffs to watch

Is it me or have they suddenly sped up over the channel?

Looking like an F1 or F2?

Hoping all are fine, seems to be a few roofs torn off.

If you run the radar animation the cores of the storms over the Channel Islands and the Brest peninsula barely move - they’ve travelled about 20 miles north in nearly 3 hours

Yet new sferics forming over Brest - mad!!! To be a Breton today rather than a Briton!

Must be some view in Jersey right now; so many storms surrounding it

No sympathy required - just letting you know that I was away for the weekend, took a break in north Cornwall. Drove back home at 10am today, through dark skies and heavy rain (no sferics or dstant thunder throughout my stay). So, despite reports of lightning/thunder around my home city in the early hours, I can officially declare that I haven't seen a half-decent storm this year... 🤦🏻‍♂️

We'll done all who's seen any action this weekend, and good luck for all waiting on tonight's potential... 🤞

In the last 10 mins that storm in Wales had its cloud tops has reach around -35 degrees, might be why its starting to produce lightning as convection has deepened.
