Breeze picked up more and now southern sky almost clear. 20.9 c.

Some towering cumulus starting to develop over the Pennines as I look east from crown point.

Had overcast very milky skies for a while earlier and temp stalled.  Sky been clear for a while and temp now 23.4°C can see cloud bubbling up to my distant SE and SW.  Haze and high cirrus to my N.

Clouds cleared in Liverpool. 
here’s hoping for some warming.

 Rush2019 Yes, same here, but some decent sun over the past hour or so and the temperature has responded accordingly, 23.9C now. Clouds starting to bubble up.

Still overcast but seems to be getting brighter

Radar is looking quite interesting further South. Two main areas over the Severn Estuary and West Wales, but other cells starting to pop up in between over Wales. Critical period for initiation now over the next couple of hours.

Can see a mass of cloud and tall curly tops over Wales.  Still a fresh breeze here and plenty of hazy blue sky.

Cumulus building in all directions now.  Stats favourable at 23.4°C and dew point 13°.

There's been floccus about from time to time today.  Big patch overhead right now.

Suns out here now and temperatures have shot up

Warmest day of the year now, 25.2C.

Just hit 25c, warmest day of the year so far here in S Cheshire, humid too  - storms breaking out to our south and west over Wales so might be a two pronged approach of storms into NW England as we head into the evening if they continue to build and break out as they are

It was fairly hot and sunny about 30 mins ago, now cloudy and its gone cooler. I wonder what the chances are in Liverpool for thunder and lightening?

The last few years has made me so cynical about thunder prospects that I’m convinced that nothing will happen here.

If only it were dark right now, would be getting a pretty amazing lightning show from the cells over Wales.

Sky has clouded in quite a lot here now, but given the track of current storms, need something else to develop over the next hour or so if I am to see anything in this area I think.

Rapid development to the North of Hay-on-Wye. Whether it develops further or not is another question, but at least it is filling part of the gap between the storms.

Getting darker by the minute, very humid.

What is it with weather, snow's gone, not interested. A whiff of storms, we all come flooding back! Love it!!!
