was actually a lovely day outside almost spring-like as Troy said, if that wind was calmer I could actually sit outside for a bit but have to wait for a few months for that yet.

Yeah it was just the wind/breeze that made today bit chilly in the shade, working outdoors was pleasant enough today though.

Friday in the sunshine may feel like Spring, especially with the wind dropping!

I was genuinely surprised about how  quiet it was here last night, i thought it might have been a lot worse, im of course very thankful for that. I also feel very very sad for the people who lost their lives. We adore the weather but she is very very cruel sometimes

Done some gardening today, pulled some crawling buttercups out of my flower bed, can't do that when soil is dry. It's crowding the planted plants. It's welcome in my wild flower bed but none growing there lol.

WeatherPro app showing a gradual increase in temperatures today. Peaking at an impressive 14C, at the even more impressive time of midnight!
That doesn’t happen very often.

By the end of this month we will be at the stage where there is 9 hours between sunrise-sunset. can only get better there after. noticeable currently that when i leave work now i get daylight still on my way home.

Not that it needed confirming, but it's looking a damp, dreary day across the Region. That light blue out west suggests it might stay drizzly after the 'proper' rain moves through.

Despite being a snow lover, imo if we can't get some proper cold here I'd prefer the euro slug high to edge a bit further north and keep us sunny and mild. Maybe a worry this early tho, but nature responding to the current mild weather - I had a pair of wrens courting in the garden yesterday - bootiful little things.
