Made it to Kent, just outside Maidstone. Do i head south to Hastings or southeast to Folkestone... decisions decisions

Possibly just saw a flash of lightning in that there was a blue flash in the direction of the Belgium storm. Under the clear conditions that's very much possible.

Blimey that is one beast of a storm over Paris, it's now starting to come into view on the radar.

Very windy here now on the coast in SE Kent. The main storms Paris way seem too far west with their direction of travel, looks like Eastbourne/Brighton might get best chance?

@Supacell I'd head south rather than to Folkestone; the sweet spot has been described as Brighton to Eastbourne. Right now where I am it is still and clear and there are even a few stars visible!
