Mother nature should do this whole "Storms on Easter Sunday" again - it's quite satisfying looking at all the radars while munching on my chocolates.

The speed of development South of Warminster is ridiculous! Bright lightning and loud thunder seen/heard! Huge anvil overhead but messy low level cloud too.

Thunderspotter I think Mother Nature is confused. This is all more akin to 31st May than 31st March!

These thunderstorms seem unreal, they bubbled up so fast.

Developments of storms moving further east slowly. Hopefully anyway.

Things getting very interesting in the channel now. Time to scoff a roast dinner and see about getting out with the camera for nightfall.

No lightning/thunder for 15 minutes * . Thundery activity has died as quickly as it developed! Quite a downpour though.

My camera is now set and ready, just in case the cells to the E IOW decide to boom.

Warm air into the cell that's just passed. Hopefully skies keep clear as might timelapse.

Arnie Pie  Yeah can tell those are the same cells from a different angle, the one on the right produced the best mammatus on these cells. Looking forward to plenty more stunning structures and obviously storms to come this year hopefully 🙂⛈️. Got a good feeling though how active its been already even in the South today.
