Well this was a surprise!

Can see an area of snow on the M4 by Bridgend well on Traffic Cams. Looks like a prolonged heavy shower dragged the temps down just enough for wet snow at low levels.

Well that was a exciting commute home from Brecon , this was just below penyfan , there was a traffic standstill just ahead so stopped to get a snap ! 

Rear wheel BMW is rubbish in blizzard conditions, however this is the first proper wintery weather I've encountered over the Beacons down into Brecon this winter. I drive over and back 3 times during the week .

 bradymk yes can confirm that temps dropped from 3/4c to 2 and even 1 at times in the snowy downpour

Been snowing across Herefordshire area of sleet/snowing could well give a dusting across East Wales moving east to west Wales.

Not much yesterday light snow/sleet didn t stick..

A nice snow shower later afternoon,looked very strange looking for snow showers coming from the south..

But today we have a covering of snow,started foggy at 1.9c and green now 1c..and white..

Yeah, had to drive there this morning a good sprinkling upto 3cms up there, not much but in some areas about 5
