Heavy snow big flakes again here

Moderate- heavy snow again with nice fluffy flakes. Grounds too wet where its melted on roads and pavements to restick though.

Snow melted on the roads and mostly on pavements as temps now at 0.3C, 1-2cm on the grass and some roofs still though. Snowing lightly again.

Snows gone to light Snizzle now, still -0.5c so should stay around for few hours till the warmer air comes in.

Heavy big flakes now in Barry, did wet the ground atfirst but starting to stick. Very heavy down Bridgend and all white there.

Snowing here in Barry so Cardiff should get it soon

Got our first few flakes here, quitr big too, parents in Bridgend say its snowing there and sticking

Nothing here despite the radar having shown precip overhead. Not so hopeful now if its all gunna evaporate before getting to the ground!

Band seems more patchy and to fizzle more over SW England, not sure we will actually get much here as the main precip has gone just a few miles too North

Im more hopefully after looking at the radar to see some snow, meto has me down for a spell of heavy snow later!

They did show earlier light snow and said 1-2cm across Wales tomorrow, then ITV wales showed the snow and said 3-4cm tomorrow, all depends how quickly it fizzles out against the cold.

Bbc weather just now dissapointing, shows the snow saturday pretty much missing Wales and Scotland take all our snow, as if they haven't already had enough! Then rain Sunday and much warmer. Bring on some sun and 15C is this is the way it goes!

Well, not what I was hoping to wake up to with the models. No real sign of snow the next few days and the it becomes spring like next week. I will enjoy the warmer weather though!

Looking ok for most for a spell of snow Saturday atm, hopefully will be heavy enough for all to get atleast an inch or 2 but then the cold can last to keep it around for 24hrs. One can wish

Yes not looking good, bbc weather thismorning shows no snow for us Thursday/Friday and said the mild air will win out in the west with no real snow. Looks like its going to be a bit of a dissapointing end to the cold spell for us now.

I'll take that from an imby with the little red blob of heavier snow over me

I don't think we'll really know till Thursday itself if we will get any, seeing where the front is and how much it slows up against the cold block. Same for the weekend. Just got to do the hard part and be patient now and see what the fax and radar says come Thursday!

Not looking as good for us to get a snowy breaking today. Thursday/Friday looking less likely the front will make it to us, or if it does very light and patchy. When I looked in the mad thread earlier looks like its also changed to the mild coming in the weekend but sadly more as rain then any nice snowy breakdown. Will be disappointing if it does happen this way and I don't get to see a proper snowfall this winter! Few grains blowing about at the moment in the wind here and there in Barry.

Not overly cold last night, -0.2c atm. BBC weather just gave a good forecast, possible snow thurs/friday and the cold then winning out into next week. Meto give no snow here thurs/friday then rain over the weekend. BBC also gives no snow here on their forecast online for thurs/friday but then snow saturday/sunday. Be interesting to see how this pans out!

Was nice to see some snow/snizzle today, wasn't expected. Still hopefull for thurs night/friday, as long as it doesn't push any forther north amd keeps us cold and snowy. Not liking the Monday chart, rain for us on the coast. Thats no fun!

Had light snow here for the last few hours in Cowbridge at work. Very fine flakes and not even wetting the ground.

Its 1.9c with a DP of -4.4c, definitely getting colder!

Temp similar to yesterday at 3.1c but dp is diwn to -3.4c. Not expecting anything snow wise till end of the week but hope we manage a good frontal snowfall then the cold comes back in to keep it around!
