Had a high of 6c here which was about forecast. Cooling off now though. Im working 13hr days monday - friday this week so would be nice for a snow day lol. Not really exprcting much here in Barry atm as its looking quite dry but cold here all week, hopefully a front later jn the week can deliver! -
I do hope we manage a good snowfall this week. Seeing the level 3 cold alert issued for England and the snow risk for the east of England/Scotland this week. Makes me jealous lol been 3 years since ive seen more that a couple cm of snow. Fingers crossed for this week!

Sleety rain here now temp up to a balmy 1.2c and dp 0.3c

Snow finally turned light and sleety here now with what lay on cars/roofs and grass slowly melting away now. Temp up to 0.8C and dp -0.2c. Ironically its our coldest day of the winter so far not getting above 1c yet, despite having more snow lay last weekend!

I don't think its so much the DP, i had a dp of -1.2c when it started snowing and still a dp of -0.5c with a temp of 0.5c. Just think we didn't get enough real cold in to cool the ground down enough for a few days before?

Ground is starting to go slushy, might stick more if it carries on, nice big flakes - temp dropped to 0.7c

I don't think I'll see any snow here in Barry this week being too low down and on the imidiate coastline, but have to go to bridgend tomorrow so may see a bit therr depending how it goes!

I think any snow this weekend will be a higher ground event. Costal areas along the south and west i feel will just see rain from this. Just a gut feeling though!

Just been down Bridgend/Tondu helping my parents with some moving and still quite a bit of snow about, streets are still snow/icy on the roads and difficult to drive on. They must of had about 3inch down there Sunday.

Was very icy on the drive to work thismorning, some nice deeper snow along the a48. Had a few light rain showers here in Cowbridge (where im working). Think it will be too warm now here and back home in Barry for anymore snow. Glad to see some have had a nice few inches finally!

Everything has gone very icey, I think it was ice rain earlier thismorning, as the thin snowcover in Barry was just sheets of ice on all surfaces when I left for work! The A48 to Cowbridge was very snowy and icy still, deeper snow along there, wasn't a nice drive, be careful out today if you take a drive or walk anywhere.

Yes just cold rain now, snow pretty much all gone now, expect it will be icy out there though!

Got sleet here now washing away our little covering already didn't last more than 3hrs!

He wasn't that far off really, it os only about a 1cm covering here! But still more than I've seen since 2018 so I'll take it lol
