  1. Gone dark and raining again, tremendous storm here at 3.50pm don't think I've ever seen rain like it in this country, certainly never driven in it before. Couldn't tell if it was CG lightening as the rain was so heavy and I couldn't hear the thunder, visibility was very poor. The roads flooded in minutes.
  2. Hi Miamay, I was driving in that one at 3.50pm on my way to work. I had been watching the clouds come from over the Mersey River way, it was terrific, driving in it was not so terrific, Dunnings Bridge Road was flooded and traffic was crawling. All the kids coming out from the schools where soaked. The lightening was fantastic but couldn't hear the thunder because of the rain

  8. Beautiful out there tonight, it smells wonderful, currently 14.7c. Generally been a great day, woke to a thunderstorm this morning, then gorgeous sunny afternoon in the low 20c's, and then another storm this evening. Had a delicious meal, fab company, and a glass or two of a cheeky red, the only fly in the ointment was that I didn't check the radar this evening and had my washing out on the line..........................so what it'll dry tomorrow, ain't life brill!
  9. thunder...................no lightening seen yet!!
