    Well the BBC better back away then! As there forecast clearly says snow for our region Wednesday! No mention of rain

    I agree, best snowfall is always the downplayed prediction...haha take the prediction for Sundays Snow ramp????????? Oh dear...

    Latest beeb forecast 13:27 The West of our region - maybe as far east as SW Essex can expect Snow Wednesday! He did say the front will sit there all day, but snow will turn lighter. He showed the snow band from Kent through London, west home counties, west midlands, NW England! Something to look forward to. BBC London forecast at 13:40 also going for snow Wednesday across southern home counties and London although she did say mostly light, but could be a tricky commute Wednesday morning rush hour!

    Here comes the thaw........ Drip drip drip...... Snow fading on my decking, can see bits of path that you couldn't yesterday! I have not bothered looking at radar only BBC weather! In terms of snow falling today? Where the hell is it? Thought I would try old fashioned way and look out of window instead of radar! But nothing seems to be happening! Oh well!

    Big big updgrade from BBC breakfast 7:45am forecast with alex Deakin! He actually mentioned the home counties... Ha ha Kent and areas SE of London to see 15cm in his words " London, and home counties will see 10cm tonight with further snow tomorrow Horaaay! We had a warning traingle over the 3 counties

    yes! Expect warnings from the meto spread to other home counties come this time tomorrow!

    I agree with you, although the shower activity is really picking up. I doubt the showers are intense enough for Warnings Tonight. As for tomorrow, your right, expect the orange to start appearing in other counties.

    Regards to Sundays snow. A member posted that London looks set to nearly miss completely. I see this to be extremely unlikely. London looks to start seeing snow from late Saturday Night. Most models take the PPN up to Yorkshire. I think at very worst it would only reach the North Midlands I think the heavier PPN will be for SE, London and Southern Home Counties

    Graphics on Latest BBC weather showing snow again. Sat night into Sunday. Expect detail to continue to change on graphics as the BBC always do. that's what they do best. Back to the models... Could we be in for a channel Low next week? The further SW the Low travels.. The better

    With regards to Sunday most of England and Wales can expect Snow. The models all agree on this. Now of course it will not be anything like we have had the past few days but none the less it looks to be persistent and LIGHT. Im quite looking forward to the walks over the fields with my dog Sunday. 6'' of snow on the ground with a white sky and light/moderate snow falling. Seriously.... What more could you ask for?

    Completely different set up back then Saint. This is more of a Northerly component. Back then is was pretty much all coming from the East. Kent will do very well tonight I expect. Stary skys for us....

    Seems that line of showers heading through cambridgeshire is dying of death. Will be gone by the time it reaches herts

    Thank you. So if a thames streamer does set up I take it, its Kent and areas to the south of London that will be the lucky ones today.

    I always thought in a Thames streamer set up, the showers never tend to migrate further north than the M25 and effect mainly South London, North Surrey, sussex and north Kent. Is this correct?

    I just had 5 minutes of thick snowflakes falling. There was nothing on the radar. Im starting to think convection is making an atempt. Dark clouds all around.
