Last night min of 18c. Today pointless drizzle and humidity cleared by mid morning to warm sunny spells and max of 24c. Cloudy evening- no chance of seeing Mars tonight. 19c now.

With me unavailable all day Wednesday then I assume no weather happened in the UK then hence no posts Today - cloudy, brief sunny spells, humid and 20c max

Min of 11c last night. A dry day with plenty of sun but it's been quite cool with only 20c as a max. Definitely a cool night to come as it's clear and cooling rapidly at 15c.

My goodness :!: It rained this afternoon. I'm sure that's what the wet stuff falling was Didn't last long and no puddles formed. Clear and cool this evening at 16c after tops of only 21c.

Mostly sunny and 27c, pleasant breeze blowing. A great summers day actually

I have had no significant rain since Friday 1st August and it was pretty dry before that. Missed the storms last week and only light rain Friday night.

A generally cloudy day with odd sunny spells and max of 24c. A relief for the lads playing football after last weekends mid 30's Now mostly cloudy and 17c.

Have had a very little rain overnight-I can only tell because the plastic patio set cover has little puddles on it. A cloudy start to the day and 16c currently.

Mostly clear (high cloud near to rain on south coast) and cooling quickly at 16c after a max of 26c and a wonderful summers day.

I have been affectedby that damn virus again Sunny for last 3 days and 25c ish. Clear fresh morning today.

Last night min of 20c. Today misty to start then sunny spells and a cooler max of 27c although still humid until this evening.

Been hot and sunny at home all day-max of 30c Now hazy sunshine and beginning to feel fresher at 24c. Southampton was roasting today too.

Here I am again, up early this morning in vain hope and there was a crappy light shower as I checked my thermometer. Sky is partly cloudy with altocumulus and some clearer areas. Temp 20c.

Hopefully it will clear away with a storm or 2 - now it's dark I have a great vantage point to view lightning for miles around and esp in the NW-NE area. The frontal cloud is barely moving- thanks to the moon it is visible still.

Half clear with orange moon and half cloudy with frontal cloud. 23c and very oppressive.

Still mostly clear and sunny. 30c currently as hot as it's got. Still cumulus towers visible in the distance-this time probably from the storms near the M4.

Mostly clear and sunny, however I'm keeping an eye on some cumulus developed to my N after what happened earlier :!: I missed the action by very little really. A gentle variable breeze and 30c.

34c today and roasting. Still 32c now and compleately clear. A pleasant breeze through this afternoon too.

Just re-read my post from last night "benn blear" should say "been clear"... excuse is I had worked a 10 hour day Min of 17c again and now rising rapidly at 22c with clear skies save for the haze on the horizon.

Last nights min was 17c. Today has benn blear and sunny and 31c max. Now 21c, still clear and an amazing orangy tinted moon which must be due to the dust in the atmosphere.

Yestaerday (wed 6th) low cloud came in between 1100 and 1300-that was strange. Today was a more usual low cloud occurence where it had come in overnight and then burnt off by mid morning. I guess it lingers on or just off the coast and as soon as we lose the suns heat over the land it drifts gradually over land.

Low cloud burned off by 0900 and it's been totally clear and up to 30c. Now a beautiful if stuffy evening and still 26c.

Low cloud cleared at about 1300 and it's now totally clear and sunny and the temp is rising although with a switch of wind to the W today I don't think it will end up as hot. 27c right now, 36 in the sun on the patio and earlier I put my mobile on the thermometer setting, put it in the sun and it went up to 55c :!:

Annoying low cloud has drifted across from Bristol Channel and is holding temp at 22c, it's bright though and hopefully going to burn off. BBC visible sattelite shows it quite well at 1100 actually.
