  1. Had a few showers as they developed late morning. I'm now in an interesting situ as the largest clear slot on the satellite is just next to me but also I'm on the edge of a large shower which looking at the sferics gave some lightning near Bristol a little earlier. It's also very windy as opposed to the forecast. Temp 18c, reached 21 in the sunnier spell a few hours back.
  2. Well Highcliffe it is sunny inland Had some moderate showers this morning but it's been fine since 1300 ish and rather warm and humid. Hit 22c earlier and now is 20c. Can see large CNB to the north where the lightning detector is showing some strikes but I don't think it's heading this way.
  3. Not many people active on here today After I posted earlier the sky cleared again and temp hit 27c :!: Now it really is overcast and threatening and tropical feeling.
  4. Turning very cloudy now after a sunny morning which saw 26c by lunchtime. As at times last week there are some interesting cumulo style cloud shapes among the impending frontal cloud. Wind gentle from the S. Temp now 24c. Lots of rain to come I think.
  5. A beautiful sunny evening, 24c after reaching 26c earlier.
  6. Clear and cool-15c. Last night min was a very muggy 17c, rose to an equally muggy 19c before the rain which was only light and showery. This cleared to a sunny late afternoon and evening.
  7. A thundery feeling evening with large CNBs.Half hour downpour earlier after a sunny and humid day. Top of 24c and now 20c. Not a breath of wind-in fact pretty uncomfortable.
  8. First shower gave 2 mins big spots but it was easy to see by the cloud structure that it had been a storm earlier. Now clear overhead but looking interesting on the UKlightning towards south Dorset and Somerset. Roll on Met Office next radar.
  9. Now overcast with spits of rain from the first shower that seems to have died from what it was a few hours back. Sky looks as if it could explode at any time as some of the clouds are very black. Some gusts of wind from the SE and temp now at 18c.
  10. Some interesting cumulo type clouds building, especially to the South into what has been a mostly sunny sky all day. Temp still 24c as high as it's got and increasingly humid feeling too. Local forecaster on the radio mentioned showers/storms becoming reinvigorated over the South after crossing the channel and hitting our hot air. Radar for 1600 looks interesting just off the coast too.Um, I wonder :?: :!:
  11. A calm clear sunny evening after a day just the same Pollen is ok so I can enjoy it :!: Top temp was 23c and is now 21c.
  12. It's been a fine fresh day here after a lot of rain overnight. Top temp reached 19c with brisk NW breeze. Evening is totally clear.
  13. :x :x :x In the words of Victor Meldrew "I don't believe it!" While away in Cornwall I miss my Saturday hat-trick and another storm this morning. Only had one distant rumble yesterday pm in mid Cornwall and plenty of steady rain all the way home. Now here is 18c,very humid,no wind and steady rain from an overcast sky. Did hit 27c earlier.
  14. A clear fresh evening (14c) after a stunning sunny day (20c max).
  15. Location=Westbury, Wilts Temp=16c (same as last nights min :!: ) high of 18c as there has been only a little sun and some drizzle Humidity=definitely high Wind=brisk westerly Cloud cover=most of sky, just a few breaks A really strange day.
  16. Location=Westbury, Wilts Temp=18c Humidity=not sure but it feels high Cloud cover=Most of sky low cloud with almost invisible drizzle but is showing signs of brightening Wind=Light westerly
  17. Missed most of action last night however just as it was getting dark some cumulonimbus started developing overhead and gave some light showers-could also see huge clouds to my NW. Almost fell out of bed at 2330 ish when rumbling occured :!: However it was a jet plane This morning a few showers around 0700 then its been sunny. Location=Westbury, Wilts Temp=20c and much fresher now, reached a humid 24c earlier Wind=Brisk westerly cloud=Cirrus, can see large cumulonimbus far to my N and E which looking at the radar are doing their business. I reckon the front passed through around midday as since then it's turned fresher and breezy.
  18. Location=Westbury, Wilts Temperature=24c now reached 27c max Cloud=cirrus covering 90% of the sky=hazy sunshine Wind=Not a lot :!:
  19. A gorgeous evening after virtually unbroken sunshine all day. Temps still 23c having reached 25c earlier in the afternoon.
  20. The cumulus I mentioned earlier developed, spread out and the whole sky has been cloudy since about 16:00 but still very warm and humid, currently at 21c.
  21. Sunny spells, scattered and good looking cumulus developed since midday, 25c and I'm going out in the garden to enjoy it even if pollen count is high.
  22. A cloudy and muggy evening-still 18c and hopes of activity tonight as the rain moves across :?: Had a temperature swing of 18c today :!: - low last night was 6c with afternoon max of 24c :!:
  23. Clear blue skies overhead and 21c. Some sign of high cloud to the SW ahead of tonights possible activity.
  24. A stunning summers day-sunny spells, patchy cumulus and a gentle breeze . Max today of 21c. Looking forward to some heat to enjoy despite the pollen :!:
  25. An annoying weather day for me. Mostly cloudy and dry. Some sunny spells-been able to see clear skies to the south all day. Some light showers that don't even show on the radar-seen darker clouds to the north. Basically I've been sat in the middle wishing it would do one thing or the other :!: Looks like the clear skies are winning to give a fine evening. I hate pollen :x Tops of 20c.
