Clear, warm and sunny start this morning. Already 20c and it's gonna be a scorcher :icecream:

Just had a 5 minute sharp shower with large drops of rain. They evaporated on contact with the ground so apart from the cars there is no sign that it has rained :!: Very black sky to my NE now seems to be developing further as it moves away. Fine rainbow too. Still at 28c and tropical style evening.

Very black clouds and showers very close by, the radar shows broken showers instead of earlier band. Humidity raised since it's clouded over and temp steady at 28c. Can see heavy rain falling a few miles away but perhaps not reaching the ground.

Um things look like happening here people. Still an E breeze, Clouds still moving from W, lumpy cumulus in lines and building too, 32c at present and still warmest part of day to come,1400 radar shows a band of showers moving into west Somerset from Devon supporting the cloud movement mentioned above and also a few strikes on the lightning detector from the band. Can't see the cloud yet but it won't be long.

Min last night of 20c :shock: Slept downstairs after 0300 as my room was too uncomfortable. Had a few showers around 0800-0900 from very angry looking skies. Now partly cloudy and 24c with a fresh E breeze but clouds moving the opposite direction!

It really has clouded up this evening and the sun when visible is more like a lightbulb Temp at 26c and humidity is well up-haven't got technology to record it. Some of the cloud is cumulo form but mostly high level. Don't think we'll get any storms looking at how they're staying to the SW.

2 days running. 32c, 90f today. A swing of 21c from min of 11c last night Don't think tonight will be so cool :!:

Last nights min was 11c. Today peaked at 32c = 90f :!: Now 29c and clouding up. I'm right on the edge of the showery cloud pushing up from France. A slight E puff of air Unfortunately with cloud comes increased humidity so it's now quite unpleasant.

A crystal clear late evening-half moon going down looks awesome :!: Currently 18c. Nudged 30c this afternoon and total sun from dawn till dusk.

Are you guys sure your thermometers are in the shade :!: I have 33c in direct sunlight. I used to have the same problem and learnt off the more experienced people on net weather about how accurate top temos are shade recorded. In the shade it's 25c. Sky totally blue-a stunner

Last night was lowest since early July at 10c and today has been warmest for 2 weeks at 24c max! Early cloud broke then totally disappeared to leave a sunny afternoon. Now 17c and sun setting beautifully.

Clearing slowly and 16c after a dismal day with showers and max of 20c.

Brief rain around 0900 since then - Cloudy and humid, 21c at present is as high as it's been.

Strange day here today. Started off with drizzle then cleared to cloud and little sunshine but quite humid and up to 20c. Then late afternoon caught the edge of the showers with several downpours before a fine evening. Also a stunning sunset Now it's mostly clear and 16c.

A clearer evening after heavy rain through the middle part of the day. Temp reached 20c and was very humid this morning, last nights min was only 17c :lol: Now 17c again.

Yes, heavy bursts of rain here now and it's really windy-very autumnal feel to the evening. 16c at present. It's only a narrow band of rain this time thankfully.

Sunny morning, now cloudier with drizzly showers and brighter spells. Temp 17c, got up to 19c earlier. In fact a rainbow at present :B-fly:

Sorry , what was that :?: .......... a dry day, no never, surely not :?: :!: :lol: :lol: Yes guys and girls not a spot of rain here ALL DAY. First time in a long while it seems. Plenty of warm sunny spells, some interesting cumulus and a max of 21c. Now 17c and a beautiful evening.

Almost a summers evening Clear and sunny, 20c, only the NW wind spoiling matters. A day of 2 halves.

A bright breezy afternoon now and looking as though it will clear to a sunny end to the day. 18c and rising.

A cool day with sunny spells interupted at 1630 by the red echo showing up on the UKMO 1700 radar-torrential downpour for half hour and now cloudy with showery rain. Max of 20c, now 16c.

Let's run this thread until the end of the month. I confused people aren't posting as it used to be busy and is interesting to see what's happening everywhere. Here today - cloudburst at 0800, cloudy with a little sun through till 1500 since which there has benn drizzle on and off. Tops of 20c and now 16c.
