  1. Cloudy, bright spells, 20c. Decent weather for the first match of the local footy teams new season this evening.
  2. A great idea Paul but please refer to the message I have sent you.
  3. Hasn't there been any weather today then :?: :? Been very active here with long warm sunny spells followed by heavy downpours and squally winds. Top temp of 23c.
  4. One pointless shower earlier, now sunny but cloudy to the west towards the showers. 18c and quite cool and windy
  5. After a warm ,windy day with sunny spells so far it looks as if showers are moving in from my SW. Temp cooling off now at 20c compared to 23c earlier.
  6. A pleasant summer afternoon, sunny spells, southerly breeze and 24c. High cloud and cumulus moving in from the West.
  7. Didn't have time to come on yesterday. Thankfully the evening was fine for the event I hosted-was breezy and sunny after drizzle in the morning with tops of 24c. Today has started cloudy but bright and warm and is 21c now.
  8. Heavy rain till lunchtime, sunny spells through the afternoon and now a showery evening. UKMO radar shows a snake like line of showers from Cornwall-Wiltshire area at 1800 which are just starting. Temp 18c with brisk SW wind.
  9. :? I am confused, according to the UK lightning detector I am right under a regular lightning producing storm- there is NOTHING to be seen or heard around everywhere I can see. Just quite high cloud and gentle rain which isn't even wetting the ground. Temp is 20c and much cooler than recently. Will report back should things change.
  10. Well what a change since I went out 3 hours ago. Now cloudy and I drove through a downpour about 2 miles from home. Sky looking very thundery, humidity up and temp down to 22c.
  11. Something interesting for me as I seem to now been on the edge of the activity zone. The sky is covered in cirrus so hazy but very hot sunshine-currently 33c in the shade :icecream: To my east I can see cumulus building quite high.
  12. 32.5 reached in shade today :icecream: Still 29c now What is cloud :?:
  13. I've forgotten what clouds look like Still 28c and reached 30c earlier
  14. Total blue skies and 28c. A gentle SE breeze makes it a truly outstanding day.
  15. Hey Highcliffe there were some weird cirrus style couds inland too around the middle of the day. Been hazy sunshine most of the day, a refreshing NW breeze and a top temp of 24c. Now it's 20c and great to sit out in.
  16. Yes back on topic  Fascinating here right now.... ...Massive cnb seem to be building to my E/SE ...then a clear slot ...very low cloud approaching from W/NW-must be the cold front and it looks like it may rain although nothing on radar. ...clear looking behind the low cloud Basically I am in the middle of where the hot/humid is meeting the fresher conditions. Now it is 22c following a max of 25c with a lovely breeze since mid afternoon.
  17. Hot and very humid today, 30c reached on my thermometer :!: It is in the shade-honest Thought storms were possible as around 1400 there were some large cnb towers building but they've shrunk. Now 26c and still sunny.
  18. Very warm and humid with hazy sunshine since lunchtime. Breezier this evening so a little more pleasant. 22c now after 24c max.
  19. Mostly cloudy, some hazy sunshine (as most of the day has been). 19c currently, 21c max.
  20. BORING  No sun, no rain, no wind, 16c.
  21. Seems like the heat is on up North then. Mostly cloudy here all day, some sunny spells helped temps to 19c around midday. Now is still cloudy and calm and 15c.
  22. A mostly clear fresh sunny end to what has been a partly cloudy day with some pleasant sunshine. Tops of 19c, now 15c.
  23. Thunderstorm clearing See storm sightings section as I'm just going to post there. 18c
