    BBC weather forecast on channel 2 shows the snow south of Liverpool into Wales, seems we all miss it was a horrible picture for everyone else tho.

    we the only place in the country that could have minus temperatures but as soon as snow appears a warm sector pops up. lol

    I just had a look at the met office precipitation chart, looks awesome as the snow in wales is pulled back then pushed back up by the main front. it does look like it decays very quickly over us tho, light and broken.

    met office app has now changed for my area to light snow and the duration of that light snow is saturday night. I am not shocked its a non event that happens all the time, I only ever seen snow when nobody knew or talked about it coming.

    I don't think people are taking this serious because its not such a common thing to hear. every year we hear the snow is coming and at best its a dusting or rain, so here in my area when someone says snow we say yeah right.

    I don't have the power to give everyone the day off, head office and all, but I am going to not go in if its very bad. we not taking on yet mate, but soon as we are ill give heads up.

    I just got out of a work meeting and as a manager to a large retail, I just had to re do rotas to people who live in walking distance as the snow is apparently coming and coming badly according to Wigan highways.

    I will also say rain for most but only because I seen this time and time again as terms of snow forecast. ill get excited tomorrow night if the tune is the same.

    so far all the apps are saying light snow, but that's more than what they said yesterday for Wigan. I wonder if the media report snowed in Britain and all that if we do get an event. (aware its a small rare chance) I am excited it is about time we had something, but ill only have confidence Thursday evening if everyone in the know is still dancing around.

    Wigan here and had brief snow last night of the wet nature and rain today, it does not feel that cold outside, a lot of fuss over nothing that north west tonight weather woman.

    They seem all very quiet about Monday, suppose see what happens saturday night into sunday. Northwest tonight forcast a spell of snow, but nothing of major (dusting) saturday night into sunday. Monday is anyones guess.

    we had a breif heavy snow shower, but its near all melted now It was nice tho and very wintry for a small time

    Yeah i know the parks and i was still drinking tea while it was foggy thinking of ponds and gravel :lol: Nice to see its snow now rather than the rain we had last night. Sunday/Monday looks promising, as far as the weather people are sticking to that firmly which i was a little suprised. btw update (It is really snowing in Haydock) Big flakes too Stopped now, was a shower, very sleety at times, but then very pufffy and snowy too at times mixed and wintry.     It's been sunny here all day :s I live in Haydock If it did snow, and granted ive been outside for most of the day, it was light and quick. I live top end, near ashton It's cold tho, but ive been out sorting my pond/garden.

    Wet and murkey with the odd sunny spell here It's not that cold here either, so maybe under some warmer influences. It's still coat weather mind. Glad some places in the Northwest got a covering, our bubble anti snow shield is firmly in up and working

    I think Merseyside will be safe tonight, it would take a mirical for any snow to stick and its still raining here and in liverpool :lol:

    Even if it turned to snow here, it would have to be so hard to make an impact, its so wet atm, and still raining/sleet very heavy. Major shock the front reached us tho :lol:

    The 'rain' had got lighter here but in doing so seems to be more of a wintry nature, some times it even looks like very light snow Weathers up and down If this is falling as snow over our region, then some places are going to be in for a treat as plenty coming from the band which is right over us atm and swirling around Here its more wet/rain to stick

    Monday is a lol prediction until Sunday as it really is a nowcast situation, so don't real too much into that, it will change radically. Light sleet now here, but mainly still of rain

    light and constant rain here Very wet indeed, but not all bad, its the first real 'weather' we have had in awhile rather than murk.
