This is quite what I meant earlier. This is more or less what I expect to happen. The 12z run was a funny one, seem to get those odd runs that want to allow some warmth. The 18z with the depression over us has been an option that we've seen a few times now and beyond that further tripe awaits us. This must be why we love the weather eh. This low was showing in FI and still is. Even so despite previous high 850's grounds temps didn't seem to correspond so well.

I was thinking this, maybe there won't be much sun about then. Maybe it has overdone the 850s though, because I've noticed the odd run has brought up high 850's. FI on the GFS doesn't look too warm though. So maybe there's no warmth to show surely?

That would be interesting if the high were to rebuild by world cup. Can't see it getting hot, possibly warm but the support for this isn't that good. Otherwise it looks to cool down and then possibly warm up pleasantly for around the weekend with a cool down but lasting right through.

The GFS on a funny turn again with sone of the warmth. It'll revert to the cooler again anyway. Cooler and wetter spell coming. Less thunderstorm risk though?? Will just be rain I'd imagine, here anyway. Would be nice to see a warm up but I've not seem much support for it.

Tomorrow looks to be the last warm day I mean mid 20's sort of warmth for a while according to 18z. This cooler/average type of outlook has been coming up a fair bit. Seen the odd warm up but the cooler/average seems the more likely. Last warm up on 12z was an outlier.

Without a doubt a warm/hot outlier! Although the temperatures never really look to get that high despite the high 850's! I've seen a few runs that have shown much cooler weather!

Interesting run....later today and tomorrow look warmer on this run. Sunday looks to be the day the temps will fall but by how much remains to be seen. Temps in the low 20's for a small section of South England on Wednesday, mmm where did that come from? A lot cooler out in FI compared to the last run I saw that's for sure.

Well I have to say after looking at the GFS I was left feeling a bit optimistic as out in FI it was showing some warmth again. On here though it sounds like this may be false with cool and unsettled weather being the actual case. The 850's looked high which would give us decent temperatures. I thought it was some sort of trend for a cool down this weekend with unsettled weather for a week then warming up again or atleast possibly.

Well late in FI looks warm with high 850's after a week of cooler/wetter weather! The more unsettled weather would probably continue though as it's just one run. The outlook has been hinting at more unsettled weather for a good while lately.

I have to say, as odd as it may sound, this kind of weather can be nice. I'll pay for saying this over the summer now no doubt...! Confused? You may be, but I mean the fresh air, it's not too chilly out, the birds are singing and it's quite calm. The rain has stopped but there's that earthy smell. I find the r sound of rain quite pleasant though. Couldn't cope with it too long though just the odd day is ok. At this time I'd prefer to see the sun over this. You could say all weather interests me although I'd like to see the seasons relevant weather overall. I'm a heat lover too which is probably why I loves my time in South India from November '07 to Sept '08 as I experienced the dry season with building heat then the breaking of the incredible South West Monsoon. Sorry if this makes no sense, I do know what I mean though ;-)

So a pleasant few days after today's wet weather. Then we will see a change from Sunday to more unsettled conditions as Low Pressure moves in and that LP looks like it'll sit right over us.

FI has been showing low pressure and cooler temps etc although not yet in the reliable. I think the trend is that it will become much more unsettled from Sunday/Monday.

Just a shame the warmer weather isn't staying for long. The GFS would suggest a cool down after the weekend. I don't think it'll quite reach 28c though.

Not really the first time it's shown cooler unsettled weather in FI. An indication of what to expect imho, it just seems to be trending towards cooler and wetter weather.

Oh no, papers reporting hot summer and that it's starting with a two week spell now. Also that'll last in to September. Even Sky are on it now as they had a news bulletin on the Sky News iPhone app yesterday. LOL....!!! Anyway looks to me like the highest temperatures will indeed be recorded away from the South East with some North and West recording the best. Cooling down next week too with the South West retaining any warmth for longest!

I've noticed higher temperatures in the North, around Yorkshire etc, than the South East. Saturday and Sunday looks that way.

Insane? How do you mean? I'm not fully up on reading the charts but mid 20's look possible but that's all I can see. I'm confident that it won't be that warm on Saturday round here and SE, warmth further North, it's shown that a few times now. I assume it'll be cloudy or rainy?

A heateave, not sure about that..! Not going to be that warm or long lasting. Looking like the highest temps will be further North, like around Yorkshire on Friday according to the GFS. Looking cooler down here on Saturday compared to what was previously showing.

So Saturday may be the warmest day of this upcoming spell? Tbh 25c or over sounds a bit too high. Going to make the most of it because the way it's been going I'm sure we will be under cool and cloudy conditions soon! Decided to walk home today from town, and it decided to pour down! So I'm looking forward to warmer and sunnier weather! Although not so sure it will be overly sunny is that right?

Temps look to be higher further West on Friday. Can't see us reaching 25c, haven't spotted it on GFS. Also in the past I've noticed temperatures on the GFS at this range end up lower on the day.

I'm confident we won't see temperatures that high, that last warm spell showed attractive temps in FI in reality they fell short of that. Maybe we could get a 22c/23c? Yes this cooler weather doesn't appear to go away for long and the warmer weather now seems unusual lol. To me it seems a strong pattern and can't see it changing any time very soon. I can't see it becoming heatwave either, I'd say 22c/23c may be the highest.

Well something warm would be nice. I wouldn't hold out for anything too warm. Seeing the GFS showing temps of 22c in some time. The last warm spell was it showing 24c at one point and we reached 21c? Then going cool again, looks a bad pattern with the cool being far mire significant and doesn't seem to want to change!
