    Hot, bovvered and storm starved! Muggy as hell in Braintree ATM. Is it worth staying up in this neck of the woods?? Was hoping it would kick off a while ago here as there was a good bit of convection but it has come to nowt? Perhaps I am being overly pessamistic? COME ON!!!!!!

    Really fine but lots of it in Braintree blowing around in the wind, a covering on the grass but paths are just a slush mix....do we expect some heavier snow during the early hours?

    Good moderate snow in Braintree atm changed from a sleety mix about half an hour ago, now starting to settle on the grass

    How is that different from any spell of weather on here, in the summer its storms and winter its snow...we all love the anticipation and revert back to kids when it does or doesn't go our way...rhyme or reason goes straight out the window (or is that just me )

    Where is the precip suppose to be coming from? I thought it was coming up from France and the latest BBC News24 also suggest that the low that has been wreaking havoc in spain and france will bring our snow tomorrow morning...I can't see any sign of this on Metox currently? Is this precip going to be generated by the low as it moves up in the morning across the channel or is this all going to be a false alarm re snow? (Which it cant be surley?) Confused??? Help please

    Thats right Habsish... but they still need us to programme thier gadgets!! How would anyone who lived through the winter of 63 lived through a winter 100 years earlier? Its all relative, life moves on....... Bring on the snow!!!!

    BBC News24 latest forecast was giving heavy snow for the south east from tomorrow am, unsure of amounts though...does anyone have any precip charts for this tomorrow as a guide to what we should be expecting? (cheers)
