    I work in Thaxted, Essex and apart from very (and I mean very) fine snow for about an hour today on and off thats all we have had, the grass is still green by the village church?? But the radar has had us under the snow since about 11.30am contstantly?? I cant figure this out, anyone have an idea why this might be and if its going to get heavier later?

    Right...just about to leave work...what do we all reckon the chances on Friday for our region and when do we think the action will start...I am going for heavy and persistant snow Friday midday through to Saturday evening 20cm+ !! Basing this on nothing more than the fact its I want to happen so I can build a snowman with the kids on Saturday and go sledging. :-) Edit - Didnt see Coasts charts (honest!)

    Just been to Tesco and bought a bottle of Bacardi, a bottle of Captain Morgan and some burgers....so thats white rum, dark rum and Red Rum........sorry couldn't resist! Bring on the snow!!
