  1. Don't cut the mustard for you maybe but dry & cold beats mild rubbish as far as I'm concerned so I'm happy with what the current charts show.
  2. So was that gfs 06z a rogue run or is there a new trend emerging for the hp to setup further north with an easterly in the south with some very cold uppers being pulled into the south from the continent, not long to wait now to see if the 12z's continue with this trend or not.
  3. I'd happily take that over crap mild south westerly winds any day!
  4. I wonder if those few anticyclonic members showing hp over Scandinavia are still present in the EC-EPS suite or have they disappeared.
  5. Oh you can take that as a given, 100%! One thing is for sure, the south West has no problem having upper air temps, Dr's etc conducive for snowfall in winter, our problem is getting any precipitation overhead at the same time lol
  6. He did also mention the track is still uncertain.
  7. Exactly lol, is it really looking to hit further east or is it more a case of members living in the east hoping it will?
  8. That's surprising as I thought polar lows didn't last long once formed and it'll have to last quite a while to make it all the way down here.
  9. Radar not looking great to our North West though after this current crop of showers pass that appears to be it for quite a while.
  10. Saw Chio mention earlier in the mod thread that in his opinion it is one.
  11. Had large flakes here at times from this shower, still snowing and the sun is shining as well. Edit : just stopped.
  12. Nice met office update for showers to turn increasingly to sleet, snow and hail as the day goes on, already had a report from a mate near Bath a little while ago to report heavy snizzle lol.
  13. To be expected at the moment, for low lying areas the best chance will be later on tonight, into the early hours.
  14. Ignore it, he's just trying to wind people up, we're the same temperature as surrounding areas at sea level.
  15. Nice to see it, would rather see snow falling Imby though
  16. Not surprising with a proper northerly wind, they often deliver snow showers to Cornwall, hope all the snow fans down there get to see some
  17. Ever thought of buggering off this weekend and into next week, it might improve our chances of seeing a snow event lol
  18. Weather p#@n!! would be great to see something like that again.
