    Anyone notice a sudden increase in wasps, ive had to sho a few out of the house I have also seen about 6 or 7 of them roaming the garden, today one tried attacking me so I got the RAID out and it not only did it get sprayed but also got flushed down the toilet!I don't like killing things but when it started attacking the book I was using to gently move it towards a window so it could escape that was it. hahaI hope everyone had a good day

    Im getting fed up of hearing other people get storms, north, south, east and west of me yet I get nothing time after time and when we do get something its small and piddly loses its energy over us and then regains its strength later. Definatley storm cursed!If I moved it would be the same storm also!

    Glad people had storms last night but I was tucked up in bed so im not sure if we got anything, im pretty sure I would have been woken by the way people were speaking about them on here though. Nothing again what a surprise.The NW london area must be one of the least storm prone area's in the SE!

    Missed out this morning, fire all you have at my France! im ready!Nice little jaunt up to Ely earlier, London Midland was spot on but First Capital Connect were rubbish no air conditioning and a women decided to have a full on three course meal infront of me and stunk out the whole train lolIm starting to think I am a little storm cursed.

    can hear thunder to my east nothing close though unfortunatley, some deep rumbles but not even a drop of rain.

    Morning all, feels a tad cooler this morning, im heading into London, I have to get a tube which will be dreadful as always but even more so because of the temperatures we have been having recently. Then im off up to Ely to go see a few people and get some lunch before returning this evening. I wish I had my car but its in for a service.I think yesterday felt so hot not only because it was hot but because it was sudden, looking out now the sky looks very dark to the SW.

    Im heading up to Ely, Cambridgeshire tomorrow any bets a thunderstorm gets going over NW London and affects my house whilst im 80 miles away haha

    We have 28.4C here damn! Its nice sitting down on the lake deck but when you walk closer to the house you can feel the heat building.Feels almost tropical out there not quite though, i have been to places where you couldn't even sit outside because you would sweat buckets and feel like you are breathing in kettle steam lol It just felt horrible though as its been quite pleasant recently.

    Morning all sorry for my absense last night, we had 3 thunderstorms and a heavy shower here in the end. The second thunderstorm had a quite a lot of lightning all CC though, they were fast moving and caught some people off guard as I saw people running in the streets without umbrellas and it always seems a tradition around here that somebody always has to ride there bike in just a tshirt when theres a thunderstorm? lol Pretty happy with what we got made up for the lack of storms in the last week or so.

    I think something in the Watford area is on fire from a lightning strike, can't confirm it but there is a smell of burning in the air and a lot of sirens.

    Wow that was crazy, the cloud went from zero to crazy in about 10 minutes complete with thunder and the heaviest rainful ive seen in ages!!

    Im starting to believe that Heathrow has some sort of secret storm shield, I wonder if technology exsists to slow rainful etc?I dont really believe that though lol

    Really nice CB to my north west its southern side is near vertical! So far today we have had a few drops of rain nothing special at all.Why do the midlands get all of the fun?

    Well considering everything has floppled where I am Im going to say good luck everyone else as again its going to be underwhelming here.Cool to see these types of setups presenting themselves often though this year, not quite like the 90's but its a step in the right direction, as the channel has heated up this year im guessing a few snow birds are going to be complaining in the winter. lol

    Feels like early autumn tonight, 16c with a breeze! if only it was late September!!Some hefty rain earlier nothing too heavy though, I think most of it was south of me.

    Yeah I was young aswell but I can remember a few corkers because I used to be terrified of them, one night we had three huge storms in a row and I remember seeing my dad out as he got on his bike going to work at about 6 in the morning and it was pouring rain.I have a feeling this is going to be the end of the snowy winters if we continue like this though, I wish there was some sort of happy medium you know.

    Haha i like the enthasis on may, either it starts getting its act together or me and the UK will have a falling out and I won't be sleeping on the couch! I will be out the door moving somewhere me and the weather have more things incommon lol

    So I see 3 very strobe like lightning and some moderate rain earlier and we got a few drops of rain monday night, its getting annoying and im not sure if its the forecasting or everyone hyping and ramping?? was it supposed to be like this all along and everyone just made a big deal of it or was it supposed to be a wide spread MCS?
