    So anything should be forming now onto this evening... I hope the people that didn't get anything last night get some tonight including me.

    I think I'm unconsciously Jesus, that line of storms that was barrelling towards north west london area parted like the Sea of Galilee! before it was throwing out visible Cgs and now nothing but a bit of rain, envious of last night as I didn't get to partake in the fun.

    Ive had enough of this malarky im off to sleep in hopes of something later, I have stayed up for as long as I could but oh well. Night everyone.

    one of the best nights for lightning in over 10 years and we get nothing but a little shower... so close yet soooooo far.

    I could see lightning from about 11:30 until now so pretty much coming up on 5 and a half hours in all direction and none of it was here. hahaIm off to bed soon and I will be garanteed to be awoken by an almighty bang at some point because mother nature is a tease, she likes to flash her knickers at me but I get no more haha.

    Maybe i got a bit excited too quickly, typical storms form North, East, South and West of here but no direct hit! Really got my hopes up when I saw the flashes to my SW.

    You know its not gonna storm here when the planes flying into Heathrow airport fly directly over you lol

    Strike Rate/Hour: 1327 Whoa!Also with the sun rising think it will trigger these storms a bit more?

    most of the lightning has died out ion this neck of the woods, weird.

    The lightning needs to pick up n these storms like the ones to the east did.

    Two cells probably 14 miles apart are triggering off of each other... so weird.

    Can here the deep booms of the storm by heathrow.

    Man saw a bright flash, waited for like 30 seconds and then a nice deep boom, made me jump a little. I hope it picks up a bit before it hits here.

    just clocked a huge flash to the SW woo hoo!

    I can see lightning but im not sure where its coming from as its reflecting off the ever increasing cloud.

    We need something to form over Le Harve and Caen now for storms to go pop out west of London.... just will it or wont it. Pretty dissapointed I could here low low grumbles of thunder in the distance. What a tease lol

    Not sure if that development was just anaprop south of reading, looks like the triggering convergence zone or what ever made those puppies fire is way to the east of us now. Pretty sure its a done deal for us now.I knew I had a bad feeling about this.

    That one over Brentford, NE London and Ashford, Kent are amazing! the echos on them are very impressive. lucky beggars! I can only see the distant flashes and sulk.

    Good to see someone of you getting pounded but here in South Herts I can only watch from afar!
