Nick it’s the same here virtually nothing coming our way foe the next 3 hours unless the wind changes, such a pity when we have such perfect Synoptics, bear up we might still get lucky.
Compared to recent winters this one has been ace save for the fact that the area has been generally starved of snow. Following the Synoptics has been very interesting and we have got everything we have wanted except a good old fashioned blizzard.
We still have about 4 weeks of possible cold weather available so here’s hoping for a continuation of similar spells to this one with a couple of battleground situations thrown in as well.
I think that’s the streamer the charts keep showing, they expect one to form to the south of us, we might well miss out but should still get showers eventually.
Strange isn’t it, we have cloud, low temperature in fact everything in place but there is still a reason why no snow falls, I still believe we will get our share but oh how I hate the wait.
My guess is we will all be excited bunnies when we look out of the window tomorrow morning, how much snow will this week bring? That’s in the laps of the gods.
You surprise me Steve has been a stalwart on Net Weather and he is greatly missed, I have never seen him post anything not related to the weather and I for one hope he returns SAP.
Surely the possible breakdown is not worth thinking about at this stage, we all want the freeze and the snow, let’s enjoy it and worry about the end of next week in a few days time.
However my feelings are that there will be no proper end to the cold for at least the first 3 weeks of February.
Actually it produced very little, so little our golf course stayed open most of the time but just to our north and south and west there was more than enough.
